Alex Cooper is one of today’s go-to directors for comedy commercials.
After working at M&C Saatchi in London, he ran comedy content agency The Wagon while creating his own award-winning comedy films which have appeared on BBC TV, at BAFTA and film festivals worldwide.
He now works with clients like Netflix, HelloFresh and Sky and has directed talent like Ryan Reynolds, Mo Gilligan and Emily Atack to name a few. His experience as script-writer, actor and circuit comedian means he has a unique directing style – combining an impeccable eye for comedy with a strongly cinematic visual aesthetic.
