Spring's OUR Thing
Create a key visual + social assets to bring to life the tagline “L’alliance de trois maturations, pour plus de grois” (“The Alliance of 3 Maturations for more taste”) for a French OOH and social campaign, part of the Grant’s ‘Triple Wood’ global repositioning.
A close collaboration with the Grant’s team resulted in a key visual concept which clearly visualised the three-barrel variants in a unique way. Authenticity was a key execution requirement – this all needed to be captured in-camera. No CG, minimum retouch, and we couldn’t shoot it in a real barrel warehouse for safety reasons. It’s late November…and this needed to be shot before Christmas.
We produced a bunch of 3D models to help figure out the space and production design. And made the whole thing in CGI first.
We imported 60 empty barrels from Scotland to a studio in London and recruited the help of our “Muscle” – the Cooper from our “Grain to Glass” film – to help stack our replica warehouse. The three hero barrels were made with a perspex bottom and filled with a coloured solution.
The resulting OOH billboard outperformed all previous OOH campaigns in the French market against all KPIs, particularly in helping audiences understand the triple maturation process – the core goal of the campaign.
